Terms of sale
These terms apply to all purchases made on elzeem.com ("the site"), operated by Elzė ("elze.macke," "we," "us"), an individual seller based in Lithuania. By placing an order you agree to these terms.
Ordering & payment
All prices are listed in EUR. A contract is formed once payment is successfully processed through Stripe, our payment provider. We do not store your card details - Stripe handles all payment data directly. You will receive an order confirmation by email once payment is complete.
Shipping
We currently ship to EU countries only, with free shipping included in the listed price. Orders are typically packed and dispatched within 5-7 business days of payment. You will be contacted by email if there is an unexpected delay.
Returns & refunds
For originals, prints, and ready-made postcards, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving the item, for any reason, under EU consumer protection law. To request a return, email elzemacke.shop@gmail.com within that window. The item must be returned in its original, undamaged condition. Unless the item arrived damaged or faulty, return shipping is paid by the buyer. Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 14 days of us receiving the returned item.
Custom photo postcards are made to your personal specification and are therefore excluded from the right of withdrawal, in line with EU Consumer Rights Directive Article 16(c). If a custom postcard arrives damaged or significantly different from what was agreed, contact us and we will resolve it on a case-by-case basis.
Custom postcard orders
Custom postcards are paid in full at checkout. Work begins once your photo and notes are received, and the result reflects elze's artistic interpretation of your photo - we're happy to take your notes into account, but exact replication isn't guaranteed. Because work begins immediately, orders cannot be cancelled once submitted; if you need to cancel, contact us as soon as possible and we'll do our best to help before work has started.
Intellectual property
elze retains full copyright and intellectual property rights to all artwork sold through this site, including custom postcards. Purchasing an item gives you ownership of that physical piece only - it does not grant any right to reproduce, print, or commercially use the artwork without written permission.
Liability
We aim to accurately represent each piece, but colours may vary slightly depending on your screen. Our liability for any claim relating to your order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Lithuania.
